Fortuneately I have had the length of life in a partnership to view this piece as part of life. You do what you have to do for the greater good. Of course the Showtime L Word saga is over and we know the B&T are together but although painful, it was an accurate reanactment of the ups and downs of life, relationship and family.

I love Tina
and I love Bette
but man Tina was really mean to Bette after she lost her job. It’s like Tina had all the power or something, she was clearly resentful and although she did have valid reasons for her concern she needed to better articulate that to Bette. Bette was the sole bread winner for how long? And she never rubbed it in Tinas face so bluntly.

Lazigal,U have 2 see the other side of the picture.They HAD a baby and it changed everything!how can u have ur same lifestyle if u’re having financial problems? Bette didn’t realize what was going on,that’s why she offers to pay the bill at the restaurant.
this situation shows the many problems a relationship has to go through. They both were mean at some point but I think they both had their reasons:anger,dissappiontment,frustration and couldn’t deal with that.

I’m not really sure why they needed a Manny (other than wanting Angie to have a male figure in her life). Both Tina and Bette weren’t exactly clocking in at a 9 to 5 (this scene is before Tina gets the job working for Helena).

well, i’ve been a fan of T’s from day 1 and though she is not perfect neither is Bette! That’s what kills me about some fans. Try to make it like Bette can’t be obnoxious -or worse a royal B*tch! They both had there moments – i don’t know why it can’t be left at that. And, as far as i’m concerned, T had some good points. She just didn’t articulate her concerns in the most constructive way, but Bette didn’t respond in a very helpful manner most of the time either. PlEASE – get real!

This is good reminder of the Tina fans how obnoxious ?Tina became after Bette lost her job. I would think it was for better and worse.
